"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things fall together."

~Priest-Sills take III~

We had such a good time. The kids got all kinds of great gifts. Family stayed Christmas eve we had all kinds of good food. My parents came, Darren's mom came with her foster daughter. My brother came so we had a house full. Uncle Harold came over later along with Nana and Papa Priest. It was so nice to have everyone here and celebrating. Cailan got me up at 4 a.m. and Darren went down and made us all coffee and I put the traditional cinnamon buns in the oven to cook while we opened gifts. Cailan was so excited to see her Roes Petal Cottage set up. She went right over to it and was checking it out. However when she went to turn the faucet on ..on her sink and nothing came out she looked at me and huffed and then ran down the hall way and started crying. Brandon went and got a little water to put in it and she was fine. Brandon got a lot of great stuff too. He is at that age where he knows what he wants ....gift cards, cash or stuff for his xbox 360 he got a lot of all of it. He got a really cool steering wheel that came with a gas and brake pedal from his Nana Mosher and John. He loved it. He also got a remote control plane from Nana and Papa Sills and he has played with that for two days straight and the batteries keep running ot of it. So all in all we had a AWSOME Christmas and we are so thankful for our family and friends that were able to celebrate it with us.

~The Priest-Sills Family Christmas~

~Priest Family Christmas~

We had such a good time. The kids had so much fun and they got all kinds of nice gifts. We started at Darren's dad house for our Priest family Christmas. It is so nice to be with family and give thanks for what we have. As you can see Cailan was at the stage where the boxes and wrapping paper were more amusing then the gifts were. She was so fun to watch this year as you can see.

~Dinner at Uncle Mike's~

We went to my brothers a few weeks ago to have dinner and we all had a blast. As you can see Miss Cailan is having a ball with her favorite ice cream
(Gifford's Grape Nut). Can you tell she loves it!!!!
Also had some relaxing time with her cousin Tucker.

~The mmmmmm mmmmmmmmm girls~

As you know in our family we all LOVE ice cream. Well I have called them the mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm girls. They shared quite a few bowls while we were down to Mass and I wanted to share them with you. Too funny they were!!

~Cailan's first encounter with Santa~

As you can see she did NOT like him very much. This was the only picture we got because right after this she freaked out and started crying. I had to rescue her and when I picked her up she looked at me and said "All Done".....I did not want to traumatize her and have her have a phobia of Santa so we left right after she got done. Atleast we got a picture of it.!! lol lol

~La Salette City of Lights~

I took Cailan and Auntie Deb to La Salette Shrine to see all the lights they say there are over 300,000. lights and it spans over 10 acres. We did not get out as it was raining, but we drove around some of the park and took pictures. It was so magical and amazing. Got you right in the mood for Christmas!!
Cailan kept say "Pittie" (Pretty).....she loved the lights.

~Some of my favorite ornaments~

While decorating the tree I find myself thinking about each and everyone of my ornaments. They all have a story to tell. I mostly love my kids ornaments. The one from Disney we bought on our honeymoon. The angel one a dear friend gave me and I love the saying "Things happen for a reason just believe" These are just a few of my favorites:

~In search for a perfect Christmas tree~

We went and got our tree today. What a day that was! It started with Darren, I and the baby got up and went to breakfast. Brandon stayed at Uncle Mike's for the night with Tucker. He had no interest in getting the tree this year. Oh my the pre-teen stage has hit. We stopped at the first place to get our tree and we searched and searched but could not find one. We then went into the back field to look and when we went to turn around we got stuck. So here we are in the middle of woods and we are not going any where. Darren got out and pushed and I drove, by sheer luck we finally got out. We left there and went to another tree farm and we found one thank goodness. We were wet, cold and Cailan was napping away with no worries. What a search but we found one and we will have a story to tell...lol. xoxo

~Happy Thanksgiving~

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We had some family over and ate way too much but we had fun. Nana & Papa Priest came and Aunt Sandy with her kids. Michael came with my nephew Tucker. We all had fun and gave thanks that we could be together for the day. Brandon let Cailan sit on the four-wheeler with him and our dog. If Brandon does not give the dog a ride she chases after the tires.

~Brandon the inventor~

Brandon had his friend Dalton over the other day and they made their own see-saw. My what boys will find to play with when they are bored!.

~I found a pretty purple YETTI~ lol lol

We needed to get some fresh air the other day even though it was 0' out. I bundled her all up and we went for a walk. Is she the cutest little bundle of purple that you have ever seen? lol lol

~Do you think she liked them?~

I made some home-made chocolate chip cookies the other day. I let my test taster have a try and I think she liked them. What do you think? hee hee

~Peek a Boo~

She has found her favorite cupboard she is hiding in. I could not find her and I was hollering "Cailan" and I heard some giggling and look who I found.

~Look what I did to Daddy~

Look what I did to Daddy tonight!! I am such a little ham but Mommy and Daddy love me so!!! She did this all on her own. I was upstairs and Darren hollered down and when I went to look she was piling all her stuffies on top of Daddy. She is so cute!!!

~It's almost time to put on the shopping shoes~

Can you believe we will have to start the Christmas shopping soon.....I dread it with all the people in the stores. I love Christmas....decorating, cooking, wrapping presents. However, I hate the crowds and how hateful people can be. I think we lose the meaning of Christmas. I feel that Christmas is suppose to mean being with family, telling them how much they mean to you. Mostly, I think it is to watch the wonder in our children's eye when they wake up Christmas morning to see what Santa has brought and how many cookies he ate. When you see that you forget how bad the economy is, how hard it is to fill your fuel tank.......and we give thanks for the one day we remember that FAMILY is the reason for the season. Merry Christmas everyone. xoxo

~Happy Halloween~

Ladybug....She just does not like the camera anymore. I had to chase her all over the yard. She had fun though. We went to Grammy Spaulding, Nana & Papa Priest and to a few friends then we went home. Brandon went with his friends. I am waiting for the pics. from my friend. She was tuckered out and slept all night long. YEAHHHHH!!!!
